Telehealth Therapy for Adults in the Lehigh Valley
For adults in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and the towns in between, Lauren Mehr offers secure telehealth, with in-person sessions available at her office in Doylestown.
The Lehigh Valley sits just north of upper Bucks County, near towns like Quakertown. Brave Embers Wellness doesn't have an office in the Lehigh Valley. Instead, adults there can work with Lauren by secure telehealth, or make the drive to Doylestown for in-person sessions when that feels right.
Finding specialized trauma or eating disorder care close to home isn't always easy. Telehealth means you don't have to choose between the right fit and a reasonable commute.
Who this is for
Specialized care, closer than it seems.
Lauren works with adults 21 and older navigating complex trauma and PTSD, eating disorders and disordered eating, body image struggles, and sexual abuse recovery, along with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Her approach is paced, embodied, and weight-inclusive. She treats symptoms as adaptive responses rather than signs that something is wrong with you, and she draws on somatic work, EMDR, parts-centered work, and experiential practices as they fit.
Choosing a rhythm
Telehealth, in person, or both.
Living in the Lehigh Valley, you have options:
- All telehealth: weekly sessions by secure video from home or another private space.
- Occasional visits: telehealth most weeks, with some sessions at the Doylestown office when you want to share a room.
- In person: regular sessions in Doylestown, if the drive works with your schedule.
There's no single right answer, and your rhythm can change over time. The guide to telehealth or in-person therapy can help you weigh what matters most to you.
Continuity
Care that stays steady.
One quiet benefit of telehealth is continuity. Weather, a sick day, a busy work week, or a move within Pennsylvania doesn't have to interrupt your care. For trauma and eating disorder work, where consistency and trust matter so much, that steadiness can make a real difference.

Visiting the office
If you'd like to meet in person.
Lauren's office is at 601 New Britain Rd, Building 100, Suite 120, in Doylestown, inside a stone building just off New Britain Road. There's free parking at the door, so arriving can be simple even on a busy day.
Office hours are Monday and Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 6pm, and Friday 10am to 3pm, and the office is closed on weekends. If you're coming from the Lehigh Valley, you might plan in-person visits on days when your schedule has a little more room, and use telehealth for the rest.
Groups and intensives
More ways to work together.
Lauren's ten-week experiential groups meet by secure video, so Lehigh Valley adults can join from home. Free To Be focuses on eating disorders and body image, and Braving You focuses on trauma processing. Private intensives, one to three focused days for adults who are otherwise stable, are also held by telehealth.

Common questions
What people ask.
- Is there a Brave Embers Wellness office in the Lehigh Valley?
- No. The only office is in Doylestown, in Bucks County. Lehigh Valley adults can meet with Lauren by secure telehealth, or travel to Doylestown for in-person sessions.
- Can I mix telehealth and in-person sessions?
- Yes. You can talk with Lauren about a rhythm that fits your life, whether that's telehealth most weeks with occasional office visits, or regular sessions in Doylestown with video on busy weeks.
- Is the Lehigh Valley close enough for in-person sessions?
- That depends on where you live and how you feel about the drive. You might prefer telehealth for regular sessions and save in-person visits for times you want to share a room. You can try either approach and adjust as you go.
- What do I need for telehealth sessions?
- A private space where you can speak freely, a device with a camera, and a stable internet connection. Headphones can add privacy. You also need to be physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of each session.
- Can Lehigh Valley residents join the groups?
- Yes. Both ten-week groups meet by secure video, so you can join from home. Cohorts form as interest gathers, and you can join the interest list or ask about the next start date.
