10-Week Experiential Therapy Groups
Small closed cohorts that move the work out of the head and into the body — alongside other adults doing the same. Held by secure video for participants across Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Group one
Free To Be.
A 10-week Eating Disorder Experiential Process.
Safe · Seen · Heard · and Loved.
Free To Be explores how eating-disorder behaviors and body-image struggles serve as indirect coping — the ways they try, imperfectly, to keep us safe. Together we make room for what's underneath.
Across the ten weeks we work through themes like:
- Confronting the Dysmorphic Mirror.
- Facing Shame and Its Origins.
- Showing up with curiosity and compassion for the "emotional terrorist" — the part that has been shouting to protect you.
- Creating a relapse-prevention plan you'll actually use.
Group two
Braving You.
A 10-week Experiential Trauma Processing Group.
Braving You explores the internal world and the protective mechanisms we've built around it through somatic and Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed) approaches. It is experiential — showing rather than talking — so the nervous system, not only the intellect, gets to participate in the healing.
You are never put on the spot. Participation is invited, not required. The cohort becomes both witness and mirror.
Equity-based pricing
Three tiers, one group.
Everyone in the group receives the same care. Pricing tiers are self-selected — an invitation to name your own relationship to resources, so the room can hold a wider range of people.
For those with substantial resources who want to help fund equitable access for others in the group.
For those with sufficient means to cover their own participation.
For those with limited resources; community-supplemented by the other tiers so cost is a smaller barrier.
Next cohort
Groups form as interest gathers.
Rather than a fixed calendar, cohorts open when a small group is ready to begin together. Join the interest list and I'll be in touch about the next start date, fit, and any questions you have.
New clients begin with a free initial telehealth consultation. Brave Embers Wellness serves adults 21 and older.
Frequently asked
Good questions to bring.
- Are groups open or closed?
- Closed. The same small cohort runs together for the full ten weeks, which is what lets trust build.
- How big are the groups?
- Small by design. Small enough that no one disappears.
- Do I need to be in individual therapy at the same time?
- Not required, but often helpful. We can talk about whether this group is a good fit for where you are.
- Are groups telehealth?
- Yes. Groups meet by secure video with participants in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
- When does the next group start?
- Groups form periodically as interest gathers. Reach out to join the interest list and I'll be in touch about the next start date.
