Lauren Mehr
Lauren is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is Level 1 certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Additionally, she has completed S.A.F.E EMDR training (somatic and attachment focused) through the Personal Transformation Institute. As a lifelong lover of learning, Lauren has received extensive training in psychodrama, dialectical behavioral therapy, TF-CBT, TANT (Trauma Art Narrative Therapy), NARM, internal family systems as well as other trauma- focused therapies. She has presented at the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP) and the national Internal Family Systems conference.
She is passionate about creating a safe environment to promote the healing of painful past experiences and trauma. Lauren has extensive work experience facilitating experiential group therapy and workshops.

To receive a licensed professional counselor certificate, a candidate must achieve a graduate level degree, such as a master’s degree in counseling or a doctoral degree. Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and Pennsylvania, also is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is Level 1 certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Additionally, she has completed S.A.F.E EMDR training (somatic and attachment focused) through the Personal Transformation Institute.
