# Private Intensives

When you want to focus deeply on something specific without waiting a week between sessions.

A one- to three-day Trauma-Focused Intensive Workshop, typically scheduled Friday through Sunday — co-created with the participant and, when relevant, their outside treatment professionals, to meet therapeutic goals that are difficult to reach within the limits of weekly hour-long sessions.

The basics

* * *

## What is a therapy intensive?

An intensive is a focused, accelerated alternative to weekly therapy. Instead of one hour a week, we dedicate a full day — or several — to going deep on what matters most, in a single uninterrupted container.

Weekly therapy is the right shape for many people, and it remains the foundation of most of my work. An intensive tends to suit someone who has something specific that feels ready to be worked through, and who has noticed that the fifty-minute frame keeps ending just as the real material starts to surface. A longer container can reach places that are hard to get to in weekly pieces.

Honestly named: an intensive is a way to create meaningful movement in a condensed timeframe. It is not a guaranteed cure, and it is not a replacement for ongoing support where ongoing support is what's needed.

The arc

* * *

## How an intensive works.

**Preparation.** Before we begin, we have a conversation to clarify what you want to work on and what a good outcome would feel like for you. When relevant, I coordinate with your existing therapist or treatment team so the intensive is co-created with the people already supporting you, rather than dropped in as a one-size-fits-all package.

**The intensive itself.** One to three focused days, typically Friday through Sunday, using a blend of my trauma-informed modalities tailored to you — somatic work, EMDR, parts-centered work, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (I'm trained at Level 1), experiential practices, and, where appropriate, the Safe and Sound Protocol. We move at a pace your nervous system can actually metabolize.

**Integration.** An intensive doesn't end when the last session closes. We plan for the transition back into daily life — how to pace yourself, what to notice, how to reconnect with your own inner strengths — and, when it fits, a follow-up touchpoint to support what continues to unfold.

Who they fit

* * *

## For clients ready to deepen.

Intensives are best suited for adults 21 and older who are otherwise stable and looking to deepen their connection to their inner knowing around something specific. Preparation and integration are built into every intensive — we don't dive in cold and we don't leave you unresourced afterward.

They are **not** the right fit for someone in acute crisis. When things feel unsafe or unmanageable in the moment, consistent weekly support — or a higher level of care — comes first, and we can revisit an intensive later.

Format

* * *

## Telehealth across PA and AZ.

Intensives are held over one to three days by secure telehealth and are open to adults 21+ located in Pennsylvania or Arizona. Reach out to talk about fit, timing, and scheduling.

Investment & terms

* * *

## What it costs to hold the container.

Investment

**Intensives are $1,500 per day.** Most run one to three days ($1,500–$4,500 total), scoped with you in advance during the preparation conversation.

Intensives are not covered by insurance (self-pay), and a **50% non-refundable deposit** is due 30 days prior to the scheduled dates to hold them. A superbill can be provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
